New Hand dyes prepped for Paris

Been ball banding like crazy some of these goodies prepped for Aiguille en Fete, Paris next week. Above some superwash DK merino. Below some new mulberry silk with metallic thread

and saving the best for last camel/silk lace  which is so shimmery- just fantastic

New Embellished Yarns

Thought I was in heaven thursday when about 30 skeins Blue Heron Rayon Metallic showed up (had an emergency shipment as I almost completely sold out in Paris):

Lace Knitting on the Beach

In midst of  this awful weather – who can believe its August?- thought I would post pics of my new favorite holiday knitting- lace. Takes very little valuable  suitcase space  and does not seem to react to react as adversely as some other fibres to high humidity and heat.  Finally finished the merino/silk  random lace cowl/poncho that’s been hanging around the stall forever:

Then started Lustre Silk Lace tunic:
