This delicious sample was knit in @debonnaireyarns lush Plush in colourway Pacific. A beautiful bouncy blend of merino with a touch of cashmere, it is softer than a kitten's belly but has wonderful stitch definition (check out those stars ⭐). Version 2 is the more daring of the two shawls. It's the shawl for those who like to take risks with their knitting. You need nerves of steel because version 2 has a few extra rows in the body and a longer border with one full extra repeat of the border pattern. Due to the nature of an applied border you can't simply end the shawl a few rows early if you run out of yarn and due to the nature of yarn (particularly hand dyed/hand wound yarn) you can never be 100% certain there will be enough (unless you have a spare skein of course... 😉) So if you like to live life on the edge and enjoy the adrenaline rush of a proper game of yarn chicken then version 2 is for you! (Don't panic though if that is not for you, version 1 has been calculated so you can knit with ease and be sure to finish with a little wiggle room.
