In sum, Aiguilles en Fete was a great show but as is typique with me , my stay in Paris was marked by a series of dramas. These included a bout with food poisoning ( the tart meringue citrone or the foie gras..), one of my helpers getting ill, getting the van towed , and while trying to leave, getting stuck in the midst of a taxi strike on the Paris ring road which delayed our ride home by 5 hours. Lee and I kept our humour throughout  even though I had absolutely no appetite and was a poor dinner companion ( who goes to Paris for a week and doesn’t eat, what a disappointment.)

 One of my clients bout some pink silk lures and grey alpaca on Thursday and came back on Sunday to show me the hat she had created .

Packed up Sunday night with the aid of the lovely Francis, Florence’s boyfriend and  on Monday, took our unexpectedly long trip home  where our baby van stood out among the huge lorries on the tunnel crossing.
