The majority of my effort is with developing my hand dyed yarn business. I carry a good range of base yarns sourced from the UK, Italy and Americas including wholly British yarns. I tend to dye colours I love so you will see lots of jewel tones,speckles along with some neutrals- especially greys.

I also carry a large range of Mille Colori baby, Luxe and regular sock yarns and Blue Heron rayon metallic yarns. These yarns are not on the website and available at shows for the most part- please call me if you would like to order (erica@debonnaireyarns.com/0788-799-4351).
It is almost impossible to keep the full range of my hand dyed colours on the site- please feel free to contact me if you see a colour you would like in a different base yarn. I am happy to dye to order! Also, yarns are available to wholesale, please contact leif interested in this aspect.

Alpaca Yarns- some spun and dyed in Italy, some dyed by Debonnaire. A large selection of mostly DKs and 4 Plys. I love alpaca yarns and it is surprisingly robust when mixed with merino without losing the characteristic softness

Debonnaire Basic Merino Yarns : anything but basic, these yarns are spun and commercially dyed in Italy and available in a big range of colours. Also competitively priced. I have 2 weights- DK at 240 m/100 grams at £9.50 and 4 Ply/Sock Superwash with 400m/100 gms at £11/11.50 (space dyed). This is a nicely spun very bouncy yarn and the DK felts beautifully.

Hi there, I need some advice. Met you at Ali Pali Sept 09. Bought “violet fields” yarn (a lurexy lilac/pink/pale green & blue, flecked with gold) and found it in my stash the other day! Would love to know what kind of “shawl” pattern you’d recommend I’d knit. Modestly experienced knitter. Will use circular needles, size 3.75 mm (or thereabouts).
